Day of Infamy:Game Modes

We plan to utilize Day of Infamy to demonstrate to modders how to implement Lua scripted game modes.

Currently Implemented Modes

Cooperative

Stronghold

Move through enemy held territory and secure the area. Your team will be reinforced each time an objective is secured.

You start with 10 supply. Additional supply may be gained as follows:

  • 1 supply for capturing an objective
  • 1 supply every 5 kills/assists

Raid

Find an eliminate the high value enemy targets in the area. Targets include Officers to assassinate, points to capture, as well as destructible Flak 88s and fuel dumps.

You start with 10 supply. Additional supply may be gained as follows:

  • 1 supply for completing an objective
  • 1 supply ever 5 kills/assists

Entrenchment

Defend the line at all costs. Make sure to fall back and regroup occasionally to keep your squad reinforced.

You start with 10 supply. Additional supply may be gained as follows:

  • 1 supply for falling back to regroup
  • 1 supply every 5 kills/assists

Battles

These are also known as multiplayer modes.

Offensive

The attacking team must capture one point at a time pushing back the defending enemy. The attacking team has timed waves, while the defenders must fall back and regroup to respawn.

You start with 10 supply. Additional supply may be gained as follows:

  • 2 supply for capturing an objective
  • 1 supply for falling back to regroup

Frontline

Both teams are given the objective of pushing through the map. A team wins when all objective has been captured, or if the time runs out and a team has majority control of the battlefield.

You start with 10 supply. Additional supply may be gained as follows:

  • 2 supply for capturing an objective
  • 1 supply every 5 kills/assists

Liberation

To win, your team must capture all territorial objective to liberate the area. Capturing objectives will gain your team additional reinforcement waves.

You start with 10 supply. Additional supply may be gained as follows:

  • 1 supply for capturing an objective
  • 1 supply every 5 kills/assists

Invasion

The attacking team must capture one point at a time pushing back the defending enemy. When objectives are secured by the attacking team, additional waves and time is added to prolong the battle.

You start with 10 supply. Additional supply may be gained as follows:

  • 2 supply for capturing an objective
  • 1 supply every 5 kills/assists

Special Assignment

Firefight

To win, your team must capture all territorial objectives or eliminate the enemy team. Your team will be reinforced if an objective is captured.

You start with 10 supply. Additional supply may be gained as follows:

  • 2 supply for capturing a territorial objective
  • 1 supply every 5 kills/assists

Sabotage

There are high value fuel and anti-air targets in the area. One team must protect them while the other must infiltrate their defense and sabotage the targets.

You start with 10 supply. Additional supply may be gained as follows:

  • 2 supply for destroying a fuel dump or anti-aircraft battery
  • 1 supply for falling back to regroup
  • 1 supply every 5 kills/assists

Rescue and exfiltrate a downed pilot from behind enemy lines.
